The Standard King Room features a cozy layout that works well for family stays, with enough space for relaxation. The location offers quick access to picturesque countryside views, ideal for anyone wanting to unwind.
The upstairs showers lack adequate headroom, making them tough for taller individuals to use comfortably, and my parents struggled with the baths due to the high sides. it's important to note that payment for the room and meals is expected before returning to your accommodations, surprising many guests, and could be handled with clearer communication.

I have stayed at this lovely spot numerous times, enjoying its compact yet well-appointed room and excellent breakfast options, all while being just a short stroll from the serene Church of St Swithin, which is less than a 20-minute walk away, and almost 2 km to the beautiful Leadenham House, which was perfect for my weekend adventures.

We had such a great time staying with friends! The cooked-to-order breakfasts were perfect fuel for our days exploring nearby grand country houses and enjoying peaceful parkland. The staff made us feel at home, and the pub grub was substantial and well-priced. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere!
The only downside was the limited parking during busy times, which made it a bit tricky to find a spot.

I had a great time staying at the Hare And Hounds. The cozy atmosphere really made me feel at home. The decor inside was beautiful and inviting. The staff provided attentive service, always checking if I needed anything. Breakfast? Absolutely lovely! The spread offered plenty of choices, great for starting the day right. the mattress in my room felt a bit too firm for my liking, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. I noticed the parking situation was a bit tricky during busy times. it took some searching to find a spot.

The room was pretty cozy but felt a bit worn out for a longer stay. The bathroom had decent space, and amenities were fine. I would say it was enough for a quick overnight visit, but nothing outstanding. A softer mattress would have made the sleep a bit better, but overall it was okay for a short stopover.

Great stay with awesome breakfast!
Had a lovely night in a cozy room. The staff were super friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was definitely a highlight – the sausages were top-notch! One small thing to note, though, the service took a bit longer than expected.
